How should I care for my products?Updated 6 days ago

The fabric we use to make our crib sheets, changing pad covers, swaddle blankets, knot gowns, and maternity robes are very delicate. Due to the delicate nature of our fabric, we advise that you do NOT wash these items with abrasive fabrics such as zippers, buttons, Velcro, etc. In order to preserve the color and prevent pilling, we recommend using a gentle, phosphate-free detergent (i.e. Woolite, Dreft, or Free & Clear) and washing on a delicate or gentle cycle. Most of our customer have found that line drying these items have lengthened the life span of these particular items.

Bows:

  • If necessary, we recommend hand washing or spot cleaning
  • Hang Dry


For all other products:

BAMBOO FABRIC CARE GUIDE & WASHING
• Machine wash cold (30°C / 86°F max)
• Use mild, pH-neutral detergent
• Turn inside out before washing
• Wash with similar colors only
• Use gentle cycle
• Do not soak for long periods

AVOID
• Bleach or optical brighteners
• Fabric softeners (they can coat bamboo fibers)
• Harsh detergents
• Overloading the machine

DRYING
• Best: Air dry flat or on a drying rack
• OK: Tumble dry low heat (remove promptly to avoid wrinkles)

IRONING
• If needed, iron on low while fabric is slightly damp
• Do not steam if label advises against it

TO PREVENT COLOR TRANSFER
• Wash darks and brights separately
• First tew washes: wash alone or with like colors
• Avoid hot water and long wash cycles
